  Elders want to pay a visit

  i had a phone call recently.

  two elders want to come round.. now i ve been out for approx.

  8 years.

  After 8 years I'd say to them, "why bother?" and refuse to meet with them.

  But it sounds like you have a few things to get off your chest and if it's what you want to do, then go for it. Be prepared to be df'd though.

  sd-7 texted me today.

  his wife is in labor, has had some complications and is having an emergency c-section.

  he asked me to spread the word to the folks on jwn.

  Which wife is this???

  The one he was married to, who already had a baby to another man, and was helping her raise the baby, then they split up, then got back together again, and now another baby is brought into this mess...

  I hope the birth goes well for mother and baby.

  I wasn't arguing re a third gender, I was making a point in regards to your inference that they "chose" their gender.

  If the one in 1000 stat is true, then that's a large number of people born of an undetermined sex. Large enough for them to regard themselves as a third sex, if they so wish.

  It's been a family tradition to watch the Queen's Message every Xmas. Even though we were JWs!

  I hold some sympathy towards her because she's the same age as what my own Mum would had been if she was still alive. And she has the same hairstyle, lol. So when I look at her, I try to imagine my Mum looking like her at the same age.

  Most, if not all, transgenders would tell you that they don't "choose" their sexuality. They typically feel they have been born the wrong sex physically for how they feel mentally. They undergo expensive surgical proceedures in order to match their physical body to the one they are mentally.

  I find Americans are less historically and culturally aware than the Brits.

  Regarding accents, the Brits have as many variations of accents as the the Yanks. Only a select few speak like the Queen.

  Good question.

  After all, it's part of the rationale of those who remain in for whatever reasons. Especially those who chose to remain elders.

  If you're in and not doing something proactive for those around you, how can you justify still being a JW?
